GovernanceMembership of Mallacoota District Health and Support Service (MDHSS)MDHSS is an Incorporated Association. Membership is open to any person who is 18 years or older and resides in the Mallacoota and Genoa district and surrounds. There is no membership or entrance fee. Membership entitles you to have a say by voting at Annual General meetings and to be eligible to apply for a position on the Community Reference Group when they become vacant. MDHSS Community Reference GroupMDHSS is supported by a Community Reference Group. The purpose of the Community Reference Group is to provide a forum for discussion and feedback between the community and MDHSS to enhance service development and program delivery for the community. The Community Reference Group is made up of
Community Reference Group members hold office for a period of three years and meetings are held bi-monthly. The Group is comprised of individuals; there is no provision for the representation of organisations. Community Reference Group members provide the public interface between the community and MDHSS and support the Manager. The Community Reference Group is governed according to the Rules and Statement of Purposes of MDHSS. How to provide feedbackTo comment about MDHSS services, contact one of the Community Reference Group members, the Manager, or the Chief Executive Officer of BRHS by telephone or in writing.
