MDHSS provides a range of services to the people in the communities of Mallacoota, Gipsy Point, Genoa and outlying areas. These services enable people to maintain their independence and quality of life. These services include, but are not limited to the following:

Allied Health Services - Physiotherapy, podiatry and dietetics.

Community Aged Care Packages - a package of care to assist people with higher needs who wish to remain living in their own home.

Dental Services - A full range of Private, DVA and Teen Dental services are available, including: regular dental checkups, dental fillings, dentures, crowns, bridges, root canal and cosmetic dentistry.

Nursing - Community nursing, health promotion, early intervention, post acute care, palliative care, rehabilitation, post natal support and maintenance.

Family Counselling - individual counselling, group therapy and family support.

Flexible Care Packages - a package of care to assist people caring for a person with a permanent disability.

Home Care - Home help, property maintenance, meals on wheels, personal care and respite care.

Neighbourhood House - Community development, Centrelink Agency, Telecentre, short courses, Adult and Community Further Education (ACFE) and occasional childcare.

Planned Activity Group (PAG) - Social and recretional programs for people who are frail aged, people who have a disability and people from non-English speaking backgrounds.

Respite for Carers - In Home care for frail older people or people with a disability who may be at risk if left alone whilst the carer takes a break. Respite care also offers 24 hour in home and emergency respite care.

Supported Accommodation Assistance Program - Emergency housing, housing information and referrals, outreach services for adolescents and families.

Volunteer Transport Service - Assists eligible clients to attend the nearest specialist medical appointment.

Visiting Health Professionals - Occupational therapist, continence advisor, speech pathologist, stomal nurse, maternal and child health nurse, psychiatrist, psychologist and other services as needed.

Youth Services - Promotes the participation of youth in the community.
