Donations & Bequests
Mallacoota District Community Health Service provides a large number of programs to people of all ages throughout the Mallacoota, Genoa, Gippsy point and East Gippsland. Government funding does not fully cover the costs of providing these services and therefore we need the support of the community we serve.
When making a donation to Mallacoota District Community Health Service, you have the choice of donating to a particular program or to the organisation as a whole. Many donors choose to provide a general donation which enables MDHSS to utilise the funds where they are needed most. All donations to Mallacoota District Community Health Service over $2 are tax-deductible. Upon receiving a donation,Mallacoota District Community Health Service will provide you with a letter of acknowledgement and a receipt.
If you would like to make a donation please call 03 51580243 and ask for the Chief Executive Officer.
A bequest is a gift made through a Will, testamentary trust, or a codicil to a Will or trust. Bequests may include cash, marketable securities, closely held stock, real estate or other personal property.
Through your Will, you may a leave a Bequest to Mallacoota District Health Support Service.
We greatly appreciate the generosity and thoughtfulness of those leaving bequests of any size.
Many people, having made provision for their families, decide to support their favourite charities by leaving a bequest in their Will. Donors can leave a percentage of their estate or a fixed dollar amount. Another option is to name Mallacoota Community Health Service as a residuary beneficiary, leaving what remains after specific bequests to loved ones are paid. Once again, funds can be left to a specific program or to the organisation as a whole.
If you would like to make a donation please call 03 51580243 and ask for the Executive officer.
